The Sargasso Sea is a strange stretch of the Atlantic Ocean, bounded by no land; only a swirling gyre. Within it grows Sargassum seaweed as far as the eye can see, and so thick that it often becomes difficult to sail through and blocks out the sun from above. It’s a silent world, but do not mistake it for a peaceful one. Many expeditions that traveled to this place have never returned.

Sargassophobia is a 2d6-based game using Powered by the Apocalypse rules. It is a game about exploring the shadowy depths of the Sargasso Sea. Players play as various types of explorer Player Characters (PCs) with their own goals as well as their own inner demons.

This is a great game, highly recommended for who loves psychological horrors. I played it with my friends and we were all thrilled about the topic because there's nothing more frightening than something you can't see. The Mechanics are very intuivive and simple, you don't need a character sheet but I made one for my players. You have to create your own monsters or choose some from another playerbook. I preferred create some of them from Lovecraftian ones. I also translated it in Italian for my friend who aren't familiar with English-speaking and they even want to start a campaign!
